To celebrate Chinese New Year with the residents ,Our adviser Mdm Halimah Yacob conducted a walk about to the coffee shop located at Blk 289H , Bukit Batok Street 25 and YISS on 5 February 2012 , Sunday. All residents presented was greeted by the Mdm Halimah with good health and Gong Xi Fa Cai.

Zone 3 RC/CC SCEC Lunar New Year & Senior Citizens’ Birthday Celebration – 28 Jan 2012 Saturday

More than 600 residents gathered for a night of sumptuous dinner and entertainment on the 6th day of Lunar New Year. Seniors whose birthdays fall between January to April also received a cake and two red eggs as well wishes. The night ended with a mass singing of lunar new year song where residents participated spontaneously.

The Organising Committee would like to wish all participants Gong Xi Fa Cai (i.e. Wish all a prosperous year ahead).

BBE Lunar New Year Dinner - 4 February 2012 Saturday

On the night of 4 February 2012, with around 700 of Bukit Batok East Grassroots Leader and residents together with our Guest Of Honour, Mdm Halimah Yacob gather to celebrates the Lunar New Year Dinner at our CC hall.
It was a night filled with fun, laughter and entertainment, not forgetting the delicious menu we enjoy eating.
During the speech given by our Guest Of Honour, Mdm Halimah Yacob hope that BBE residents will support the plan on building more childcare and elderly care center in BBE housing estate area.
Last but not least, Mdm Halimah Yacob wishes all BBE Grassroots and residents a Happy & Prosperous Dragon Year.

11 Actual Chingay Parade Floats and its performers will pass by Jurong East, Bukit Batok East, Bukit Batok, Jurong West and end it off at Taman Jurong!
