BBE CSC Rock Wall Climbing -15 April 2012 Sunday

Organised by BBE CSC Youth Sports Group. BBE CSC Youth Sports Group was delighted to attract a total of 25 participants (17 adult/ 8 children) for the first rock wall climbing introductory session. They gathered at the Bukit Batok NS@HomeTeam Club with Instructors Pauline and Wayne who briefed on the safety and basic steps in rock wall climbing. We are proud Hui Jing (7), the youngest participant who managed to scale about 10 m height of the wall. Our eldest participant Thomas Ang (>50) also reached the top of the rock wall at 18 m. It was an enjoyable session for the residents, families and friends strengthening their relationships through sports. All the participants are looking forward to the next session. As Organisers, BBE CSC Youth Sports Group was greatly encouraged and would be planning another session in the second half of 2012.

BBE NVRC Easter : Love Gleams In Families - 21 April 2012 Saturday

On 21 April 2012, Nature View RC jointly organised an engaging event entitled "Easter:Love gleams in families" with Bukit Batok East Grassroot's Organisation and the Family Life Champion. This event saw an attendance of 30 teams of families participating. Each team was given four eggs to decorate and the best 10 teams will each win a prize. With free flow of pop corn and candy floss, balloons sculpting and the eggs decoration, the event was a roaring success with love gleaming everywhere. Grassroot's Advisor , Mdm Halimah Yacob was there to present the prizes to all winner of the contest.

Community Game 2012

People's Association CSCs kicked-started Community Games 2012 on 15 April at 17 venues after months of preparation. Our BBE CSC has sent in teams to compete and also to build social bonding through games. The South West Team (SW Team) had a tough fight against the Taman Jurong CSC on Saturday, 21 April 2012 and the BBE Basketball team fought and hold on well against the traditional mighty Yuhua on 22 April 2012 at Yuan Ching Secondary school. We have ‘Never Give Up’ spirit. We hope through sports to build team spirit and friends. 3 Cheers to SW and Team BBE.
