Following up to our first distribution of reading glasses to our Bukit Batok East needy senior residents on Oct 2012 . Our kind sponsor, Metro ( Private ) Limited

has again generously offered Presbyopia non-prescription over-the-counter reading glasses to our seniors who are 50 years old and above.

Grassroots Adviser Mdm Halimah Yacob graces the event and lend a helping hand to our seniors  in choosing the right pair of glasses.

No more trouble reading things up close for our 125 seniors who benefited from our generous sponsor kind gesture.

Salam Mesra Aidilfitri 2013 - 24 Aug 2013 (Sat)

This year's Salam Mesra Aidilfitri 2013 will see a host of stars lined-up to entertain residents, families and friends with songs performances that best spices up our Hari Raya Celebration moods. Expect to be up-close and catch Ezad from the famous band 'Exist' in person as he woo your ear drums with his endearing
voice by singing a host of his popular numbers from the early 2000s till today. Hosted by a popular comedian, Yusoff Maruwi, you can be sure of a fun-filled evening with good laughters!

There is certainly plenty to look forward to as we will be featuring Singapore's very own talents such as Lynn Malik and Hashy from Channel 5's reality singing competition 'The Final 1', among others. What's more is that you can take part in stage games, sumptuous celebration dinner and stand a chance to win prizes in our lucky draw segment! So, what are you waiting for? BBE Zone 1 RC Children’s Art Competition - 20 July 2013 (Sat)

40 children participated in the Children’s Art Competition that held on 20 July 2013 at Blk 235, Pavilion organised by Bukit Batok East Zone 1 RC and many have express well on the theme on Racial Harmony through their drawing. Congratulation to all the winners.

BBE Zone 1 RC Learning Journey - 20 July 2013 (Sat)

Bukit Batok East Zone 1 RC together with NTUC Learning Hub, have offered computer courses and language courses for the residents at great discounts on 20 July 2013 at Blk 235, Pavilion. More than 400 residents walk forward to ask about the courses offered by the NTUC Learning Hub. The project was successfully organised.
