Specially For Women! Bukit Batok East CC WEC celebrated International Women’s Day 2012 with a half-day tour to Health Promotion Board. Grassroots Adviser Mdm Halimah Yacob joined two full busload of Bukit Batok East ladies in the healthy cooking at HPB to promote healthy eating lifestyle. She understand most families eat out due to hectic lifestyle but impressed on the women to bring back healthy food knowledge to their families. She encouraged them to have home cook meals whenever possible to build strong family bonds. The tour end on with a sumptuous but healthy lunch at Guilin Restaurant. Bukit Batok East CC WEC registered their sincere appreciation to the HPB’s team for their hospitality and sharing of healthy food knowledge.
