More than 400 residents sang and danced on the first day of 2012 at Bukit Batok East.
They were at the hard court of Blk 235 Bukit Batok East Ave 3, at the Sing-a-long Session, organised by Bukit Batok East Community Club Management Committee and Zone 1Residents’ Committee. They sang Mandarin oldies and Chinese New Year songs. Many also danced to the beat of Cha-Cha and rumba.
The Guest of Honour, Adviser to Jurong GRC Grassroots Organisations, Mdm Halimah Yacob who is the Minister of State, MCYS and MP for Jurong GRC joined residents and grassroots leaders to sing Beautiful Sunday.
